The Awareness Club
The Awareness Club had a field trip to the Rudman Food Pantry at the Mid Island Y JCC in Plainview where they volunteered to help members of the community facing food insecurity. Club members had a lesson about food insecurity and how it affects people here on Long Island. They then spend time fulfilling orders and sorting through food donations. It was a valuable experience for all who participated and our help was very much appreciated as more and more families face food insecurity in these times.
