Model UN-Port Washington Conference

This past weekend Syosset's Model United Nations club competed against thirteen Long Island schools at the Port Washington Model UN conference in their final tournament of the year and once again made Syosset proud. Through their hard work, diplomacy, and debate skills, the team brought home several awards. Congratulations to our delegates who earned awards within their respective committees: "Honorable Mention" distinctions went to: Anay Tayal, Darren Gao, and Lucas Lin; "Distinguished Delegate" distinctions went to: Becky Chen, Mathew Lee, and Derek Steinberg. Lastly, congratulations to Shivani Kumar for earning the Best Delegate distinction in her committee. Congratulations to the whole Syosset Model UN team for such an amazing year, and good luck preparing for the upcoming Syosset Model UN Conference with our middle schools.
