Syosset High School is dedicated to preparing students for both the future we envision and the one that may evolve in ways we have yet to imagine.

Our diverse array of programs ensures that every student can thrive, offering a range of opportunities designed to challenge, inspire, and equip them for success in an ever-changing world. From 31 Advanced Placement courses and nine world language offerings, to specialized programs in every major subject area, we provide a robust academic foundation that fosters critical thinking and intellectual growth. Our SYO+ Pathways Program also allows students to take a sequence of courses to receive micro-credentials geared toward a particular career field.

Our co-curricular programs are equally comprehensive. Students may take advantage of our nearly 100 clubs, or compete on one of our many athletic teams. Our students commitment to service is evident through their hundreds of yearly fundraisers and community initiatives. We also offer unique opportunities at our FM radio station, podcasting lab, and video production studio.

Our administration and staff serve to model the values and character we expect of our students: patience, respect, integrity, dignity and empathy. We share our responsibility with parents and our community, and, in turn, hope to make Syosset High School students aware of their responsibility and connection to the larger world.
