The mission of the Syosset High School Library Learning Commons is to be an incubator where all learners are empowered with the tools, skills, and opportunities to create, invent, and learn. Failure is welcome and risk-taking is encouraged. Learners engage in a design process that equips them with the skills necessary to successfully participate and navigate through an information-rich world and cultivates a culture of learning in an ever-evolving collaborative global community.
Teachers actively collaboratinG
TAC (Teachers Actively Collaborating) is a group of educators who collaborate across disciplines in a relaxed, collegial atmosphere by discussing and sharing instructional strategies in an effort to continue our professional growth while enhancing instructional strategies and supporting student achievement. Our TAC Center is open all day for educators to collaborate and share ideas and expertise.
